Water is regularly laboratory tested by certified laboratories
Drinking water has to be clean, pure and free of noxious elements.
Our water is regularly analysed and microbiologically tested by internationally certified laboratories. It reports that our mountain water has the lowest total dissolved solids ever recorded for a natural unprocessed water.
Water is tested at loading and on discharge to ensure first class quality on delivery.
Water is food
Water is regulated to the same strict regulations as food products by the Norwegian Food Safety Authorities.
With the Authority’s help we ensure quality from source to consumer. Our water is extremely pure, regularly tested and stands at 4-6°C. Aquathor intervenes to capture water that otherwise runs into the sea without any contact with human, agricultural and industrial waste. We then carry this water to people and places that need it.
We do not obtain our supplies by diverting rivers and robbing ecosystems that are recharging wetlands or sustaining biodiversity. Nor do we deplete municipal sources.
The Norwegian Food Safety Authorities will issue The Health Certificate for drinking water before shipping.
Transport in clean stainless steel tankers. Aquathor water is transported in bulk.
In stainless steel tanks aboard modern fuel-efficient tankers that meet safety and sanitation standards also required for transporting food products.
We transport to water works or collection points close to markets. The water is tested on loading and discharge.
