Aquathor AS was established in 2018 by four partners with international business backgrounds. From different perspectives they had all experienced and followed droughts and water problems globally. Together they wanted to do something about this unfair imbalance.

Aquathor focus on this imbalance - we can shuttle top quality drinking water from abundant sources to public utilities in need of steady supply, or to crisis zones on an occasional basis.

Norwegian hydro power stations that are situated close to deep fjords and with large dams are our natural partners. With financial support from Innovation Norway and close co-orperation with the Norwegian Food and Drinks Authority we have developed an excellent project together with a few electric power generation companies.

With the hydro power generation companies and our shipping partner we are able to deliver water at short notice to cushion the effect of shortages.

Over 25 years’ experience in handling tanker vessels with a special focus on chemical tankers in the capacity as Superintendent, Technical Manager and latest as Chief Operating Officer running a pool of chemical tanker vessels. One of the founding partners in Hansa Tankers Management As currently running more than 45 chemical tankers in worldwide trade since its inception in 2010.
