Droughts are usually a summer occurrence of extended hot, dry weather which come in cycles that are now regularly exceeding the historical average of 5-10 years. Not all droughts are the same, but their impacts frequently are, hitting ecosystems, agriculture, industry, households and the economy.

Maintaining supplies during pauses for maintenance
Desalination plants are sensitive to algal blooms. Aquathor is able to keep waterworks functioning with supplies of fresh drinking water during cleaning and maintenance periods.
